Is average like $95,000 plus in your first year salary? (In a few years you can pay-off your Student Loan.) A Graphic Design Specialist only gets about $40,000 salary on average here. You can live an okay lifestyle. Once you have kids, the $95,000 salary starts to feel like that $40,000. Of course my perspective is base on a New York City lifestyle. Every state has it's own standard for livable income and I am sure it's the same with your country.
Oh! I know what you mean about the supplies. Art supplies are not cheap (yet again, anything over $200 is expensive to me). I am very sure your class supplies are murdering your wallet.
Having a writing intense course is not uncommon to any major in NYC. I have to play my cards right. I have the choice to choose which courses I want to take together. I try to take a class that is writing intensive with classes that are not. I got two more History courses to take out later (History will have you write a paper). Since I am taking one class this semester, I only have one paper to finish. I am actually 50% done with now. I also got a presentation to do too.

off. It's probably one of the higher first year pays, but it only increases slowly and steadily. Nothing like the
commerce jobs where it might possibly go up exponentially. But I guess the job's quite stable and not too demanding.
Oh they are murdering my wallet and bank account. This year, I spent $2.5k on equipment. Last year, I forked out over $1k for another piece x_x It made me sad paying my credit card bill ;__;
